Sterling Larrabee is a graphic designer based in Cedar City, Utah, specializing in brand identity systems that are simple, functional, and built to last. His work is strongly influenced by the outdoors, endurance culture, and a preference for clarity and durability over unnecessary complexity.
He is a graduate of Southern Utah University, where he earned a degree in Graphic Design and developed a versatile skillset across Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. In addition to digital design, he has experience in illustration, drawing, and photography tools he uses to create more intentional and self-sufficient visual work.
Originally from Draper, Utah, Sterling’s background reflects a balance of discipline and exploration. After graduating from Corner Canyon High School, he spent two years in San Diego, California serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That experience continues to shape his approach to communication, emphasizing clarity, purpose, and connection.
Much of his perspective as a designer is informed by time spent outdoors—running, training, and exploring rugged environments. This influence carries into his work, where he prioritizes systems that are not only visually compelling, but also practical, adaptable, and enduring.
Sterling’s approach to design is grounded in the belief that strong branding should do more than stand out—it should hold up over time, function seamlessly, and resonate with the people it serves.
